Secretary – Real Estate / Asset Management

Location: London Bridge (On-site) 

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

 

We are working with a well-established and successful real estate and asset management organisation to recruit an experienced Secretary for their Head Office based near London Bridge.

This is a key support role within a busy Asset Management department, working closely with Asset and Project Managers and alongside other PAs to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including diary management, document preparation and general office coordination. This role would suit a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Typing, editing and formatting reports and documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Diary management and meeting coordination
  • Assisting with the preparation, collation and circulation of reports
  • Tracking documents through approval processes and ensuring timely sign-off
  • Electronic filing, scanning, photocopying, binding and shredding
  • Tracking completed documents and liaising with internal archiving functions
  • Booking and setting up meeting rooms
  • Greeting visitors and managing couriers
  • Providing holiday and absence cover within the team
  • Supporting with general secretarial and administrative duties as required

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar secretarial or administrative support role
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with spelling, grammar, formatting and presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident working independently, with the ability to multitask
  • Proactive, flexible and positive approach
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • A collaborative team player
