EA to Partner | Boutique executive search firm

Executive Assistant - London

Ref: 644Wednesday 30 September 2026

£60,000 - £65,000

We are looking for an exceptional EA to become the trusted right hand and thought partner to a new senior Partner within a fast-paced, relationship-driven exec search firm. This is much more than a traditional EA role. Alongside providing high-level support to the Partner, you’ll be heavily involved in search and project management as well as extensive internal and external stakeholder management, helping to drive searches forward and ensure an exceptional experience for clients and candidates. As the Partner’s right hand, you’ll take ownership of their diary, inbox, relationships and priorities, while playing a key role in managing search projects from start to finish.

You will:

  • Be a true thought partner: Understand the Partner’s priorities, anticipate their needs and proactively help them navigate a busy schedule.

  • Project manage searches: Coordinate multiple executive search processes, keeping timelines, meetings, actions and stakeholders on track.

  • Manage senior stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with clients, candidates and internal teams, acting as a highly professional point of contact.

  • Own the diary and inbox: Bring structure to a complex and constantly changing schedule, ensuring the Partner’s time is focused on the highest-value priorities.

  • Drive relationships and follow-ups: Ensure key relationships are nurtured and opportunities for reconnection aren’t missed.

  • Bring order to complexity: Stay calm and solutions-focused while managing multiple moving parts and shifting priorities.

We’re looking for someone smart, proactive, highly organised and naturally curious - someone who wants to be much more than an administrator. Experience in executive search or recruitment is particularly valuable, especially interim search or project-based search experience. A background in private equity, consulting or another fast-paced professional services environment would also be highly relevant. You’ll bring excellent project management and organisational skills, strong judgement and the confidence to operate independently, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to anticipate, prioritise and make things happen, a calm, adaptable and solutions-oriented approach, and high emotional intelligence, discretion and attention to detail.

This is a great opportunity for an EA who wants genuine ownership. The role is based in London, with 2–3 days in the office per week, and comes with a strong company benefits package. If you’re an experienced EA, search professional or professional services operator looking for a role where your judgement, initiative and ability to think ahead are genuinely valued, we’d love to hear from you.
